After more than 41 years in the practice of law and mediation, as of September 1, 2025, I have officially stepped into retirement.
Over those decades, I had the privilege of sitting at the table with thousands of people, helping them weigh options and find a way forward. But in truth, what I treasure most is not the number of cases resolved, but the relationships formed along the way. Lawyers, assistants, clients, and judges — I think of so many of you now as my friends, and that has been the greatest gift of all.

In closing, I step away with tremendous gratitude — for the trust placed in me, the lessons learned, and the community built. In this next chapter, I’d love it if we ran into each other on a running trail, at the ballpark, or listening to some great live music. And until then, never forget just how awesome you really are.
As Senator Paul Wellstone once said, “We all do better when we all do better.” Thank you for making me better.
